carpet delete

I know there are tons of places to buy new carpet, but I want the vinyl/rubber formed floor mat in lieu of carpet. Any ideas?

Many years ago, you could order replacement carpet in a few different styles and grades. One of those styles was a rubber mat. They may have stopped producing them due to poor sales. It might be worth contacting some manufacturers and see what they say.
